Janet is a lifelong hiker who has trekked some of the most rugged trails in the country. In the past Janet has worn a very solid, leather traditional style hiking boot however she’s found them much too heavy of late. Janet was keen to explore some of the more innovative hiking models stocked at Walking by TRC. She adored sampling the higher levels of cushion found in the new age hike shoes and still found a model that offered her confidence around her ankle for when the trails got very technical. Janet’s off to walk the Cape to Cape trail in Tasmania later this year and is looking forward to doing it with a lot less weight underfoot!
